The Old Vicarge

The Larmer Tree
The Larmer Tree contains a wonderful collection of ornate buildings, with free-flying Macaws and roaming peacocks all retained in an enchanting and tranquil atmosphere.The Larmer Tree Gardens, created by General Pitt Rivers in 1880 are an extraordinary example of Victorian extravagance and vision. The gardens hold a unique collection of ornate buildings, ranging from the spectacular Singing Theatre to the magical Roman Temple. Sopley Mill
A stunning, newly renovated watermill surrounded on both sides by the Avon River with uninterrupted views across the water meadows. Exclusively yours, the Mill provides privacy and flexibility for you to create your own unique wedding.

Lulworth Castle

Burley Manor

Highcliffe Castle
For years the castle has played host to royalty, the rich and famous. For a period it was fit only for roosting bats but through the support of the public, the heritage lottery fund, Christchurch Council, and many others we now host classes, events, weddings and heritage visitors…
When it comes to planning your perfect romantic reception Highcliffe Castle can offer you two unique choices. Both reflect the timeless style you would expect from a Grade 1 listed Castle but each are a little different.
Our Great Hall can seat up to 110 diners with the magnificent stained glass “Jesse” window creating a spectacular backdrop behind the head table.
The State Dining Room is more intimate and seats up to 80 guests. The multitude of candles and the exposed brickwork creates a very romantic atmosphere.
You are of course welcome to invite additional evening guests. The Castle can hold up to 200 guests in total.
